About Larkin Centre

The Larkin Centre is a non-profit making organisation engaged in the provision of a range of services within Dublin’s North East Inner City. Since its establishment in 1986 the Centre has worked on behalf of people experiencing disadvantage and its service provision has grown in response to community needs. The Centre has and continues to play a pro-active part in the social and economic renewal of the North Inner City. The Larkin Centre has significant experience of working in the community sector and of devising new and innovative approaches to respond to needs – we are a needs based organisation which works on identifying those needs and coming up with workable solutions.

What We Do

The Centre’s work is critical in facilitating capacity building interventions to support individuals and groups across the North Inner City. The Centre’s role and remit in promoting social inclusion and engagement in lifelong learning ensures effective targeting of beneficiaries. The Centre’s work on the ground and connection with local groups and individuals supports the work and functioning of other agencies in the delivery of their services. The service delivery model is cost effective, responsive and targeted to presenting needs.
